New Cute Chat User Needs Info.

    New Cute Chat User Needs Info.

    I have downloaded the Chat Demo and see that it's an MSI file.  How do I install on shared server?  I am unable to run any programs on the server.  All I can do is create folders and copy files to server.  Server does provide ASP.NET support.
     
    Adam from CuteSoft says "To get the Cute Chat works, your server need to have Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0 or 1.1 installed. You also need a SQL server database."
     
    Where do I go from here?  I have the CustSoftSetup.msi file.

    After you run the MSI file, you will extract all the files to the local machine.

     

    Then you can find the Cute Chat configuration wizard.

     

    The configuration wizard will walk you through the steps to install Cute Chat on remote server.

    Adam., Im afraid I am going to need some hand-holding in installing this product.

     

    I have Wizard open and it's asking about Database setup and Server IP address.
     
    Our server keeps data files in www.trims.com\data or one of its subfolders.
    So, what do we enter in the Server IP field?
     
    Next, it asks for Login Type - I assume its Windows Authentication .
     
    Next, we create new database as CuteSoftSample?
     
    Our server requires that we create a DSN pointing to the Database.  DSN name must have TRIMSC. prefix as in TRIMSC.CuteSoftSample
     
    Any number where I can reach you by phone or where can we go for live chat?
