    Spell checking - cross browser

I am getting the following error when I click the 'spell check' button:

    Server Error in '/' Application.

I'm using the .asp version, however this looks like a .NET error.  Please help.

I had the same error a wile back. You can fix it by clicking on the folder and going to the Properties.  on the Directory tab click on Create button and make sure you select the correct datapool version (ASP 2.0) to run the application.

    Hope this helps.

Re: Spell checking - cross browser

I am also having this problem. Using CuteEditor for ASP V6 on a hosted server that has ASP.NET2 activated. I am not sure I understand what you are saying yzaragoza - could you please explain a little more? With using a shared hosted server I have little control over settings apart from activating/deactivating ASP.NET2

    Thanks

Re: Spell checking - cross browser

The fix I used, requiers you to log in to IIS and be able to click on the folder where you have the application insatlled.

If you are on a remote server you might want to contact your provider and see if the can do this for you.

Re: Spell checking - cross browser

Maybe this is a bit more clear:

You can fix it by Loging in to IIS,
Select the site where the application is installed
    1. Click on the folder and go to the Properties where you have all the files for your editor.
    2. Right-Click on the folder and go to the properties option
    3. Once thats open go to the Directory tab
    4. Click on the Create button to make the folder an Application
    5. Check that you are using the Correct Datapool Version (ASP 2.0) to run the application.
    Hope this helps.

    Thanks
