    Corrupt Image Editor

I periodically have a problem with the CE image editor for CE5.3 running in DNN 3.1.0. When I go into the editor and I try to work with an image, I get a thrown exception. Usually, I copy over the files in the CE bin folder and overwrite the files in the DNN bin folder (ce dlls). This usually solves the problem, but for some reason it is not working today...

Please let me know how to fix or if there is a workaround!!!!!

here is the exception trace from the log viewer:

    Re: Corrupt Image Editor

    ludis,

The error log doesn't provide detailed information for us to figure out what caused the problem.

To fix this issue, please download Cute Editor for DNN 3.x and copy the CuteEditor.dll and Image Editor.dll to your DNN bin folder.

    Hope it helps.

    Keep me posted

    Re: Corrupt Image Editor

Thanks...it worked...where can I get info on the root cause of this?

Also, what are your plans for better integrating CE with the DNN permissions system...as it stands now, I have to manually edit a bunch of config files everytime I want to implement a new role...

Other than that, its a great product and look forward to the next version.

    Thanks

    L.
