I am developing our website on 2 localhost machines with the editor on both. One at work and one at home. I updated my website from home and this morning i copied the site over to our liube server and i get the error

 

The License for Editor is not valid.

 

Can sonebody please help me as people need to be updating the website

 

the email i purchased the editor was phynes@midia.ie

 

the domain name i am using is http://admin.midia.ie

It seems something happend this morning or tonight.  I have no sollution at this time.

 

Same thing happened to me.

I copied an old licence file from a backup-folder, it solved my problem.

I tried that but it didnt work. Did you have to compile your asp.net code again or restart IIS/Server when you copied the licence file over?

 

Is there a technical support number to call? I cant find one on the website.

I tried to recycle the app pool after replacing the licence file but no result.

I don´t get this. If this happend to several of us. there is only 2 reasons as I can see:

1. there is some kind of date that have expired.

2. editor is comunicating with some kind of service at cutesoft. and that service has failed.

What do you think?

the old version of the editor seems to work fine.

I only realised this morning that i had to give my domain name to cute soft so maybe the temporary one expired today. I emailed Karen the domain this morning but i am still waiting for my updated licence file so hopefully that will sort it.

I have experienced the same problem - everything has been running perfectly for many months - I didn't touch anything, and all of a sudden this morning I am receiving the sam "license not valid" error

Have any of you been issued with new licence files yet?

I guess they are about to get to work at cutesoft now.

That worked for me. How long does it last for?

This temp license file will work for another 30 days.

Thanks Karen. I copied that to the live server and it worked. Do i use this licence file on my developer machines (localhost) also?

The temp license file can work on any server and it will expire in 30 days.

 

Please note that the official license file NEVER expire and it always work for your localhost.
