We are looking at integrating Cute chat with our existing portal. Please let me know if it provides the following features:

1. Our portal is in a Web Farm. Will Cute Chat give any issues if integrated with an application in a web farm?

2. Can the admin set up a Read-only access to a chat room? Meaning a user will be able to only read through the chat but will not be able to enter any message?

3. Can the Chat window be setup to be displayed separately from the portal ?

I tried to access the password protected room. But i can't access it till I enter the password. So I presume I will not be able to see the any of the chat scripts also? The requirement that we have is to be able to view all the chat scripts but not having the access to enter any comments. Is there any feature available?

Yes. You need to add the following entry into your web.config file:

 

<add key="CuteChat.MultipleServerMode" value="true" />
