• Upload to virtual directory?

When I use a format like this for uploader.SaveDirectory... uploader.SaveDirectory=''../upload'' seems to be looking for a physical path. I would like to upload to a virtual path that's outside the actual web folder in IIS, but I can't seem to do that. Is there a way?

  • AjaxUploader stopped working :(

Hi, I downloaded the code, put it up online, configured it (didn't realize at first that I had to un-rem the line that does that actual uploading!), and uploaded a few files, and it worked fine. Now, whenever I try to go back to one of the upload pages, the page just hangs and never loads. Is this a limitation of demo mode or is ...

  • Upload fails - permissions issue?

Hi, I just cannot get the uploader to work. Actually, I think I may know some of what's going on. The folder physically resides in another website, but is part of an app that's bound to other sites through virtual directories in IIS. When I access the uploader from the 'physical' site, it loads ok...when I try it from a client site, it doesn't run. Is there something ...

I believe so, yes (right-clicked the sub-web in IIS, and on the Directory tab, clicked 'Create' next to the Application name field. Does it have it have to actually be called 'IIS-Application'? (I just called it 'aju') We don't have VS2005, unfortunately. GenNS

  • Can't Install / Run Ajax Uploader

Hi, Just downloaded the trial and was having trouble getting the included demos to run, but that's because the Ajax Toolkit 1.0 wasn't installed, so I installed it. Is there a version more current than 1.0.61025.0 that I should've installed instead? Also, any time I try to run the demos, I get this error: Parser ...
