• Re: why are span tags added when applying classes from the dropdown menu in CE6.6?

The span tag is added so that an inline style can be inserted. If you want to add a style to a div select the div and then access the Properties window and add the appropriate style ID or name so that the called style is applied to the div.

  • Empty div tags

When a div tag is emptied it sometimes disappears from a page completely, which can be inconvenient and confuses users. Div tags can be positively deleted by selecting an appropriate button within the interface or a pop up menu, so would it be possible for the editor to have a feature which ensures that there is always at least a single ...

  • Use of negative positioning symbol within margin fields.

It would be ideal if the Margin Left, Right, Top and Bottom fields within the layer Properties window permitted the use of the -(minus) symbol, as this is frequently used to help position some divs within pages. I am presently having to access the code view to to enter these dimensions as the fields only appear to accept numerals. The - symbol ...

Div ...

  • absolute layers margin-left

The editor would have substantially increased value in creating page layouts if the user had the option to nominate that a dragged absolutely positioned div use the attribute position: margin-left; instead of the currently applied attribute position: left; to locate the div on the page. The reason for this is that within center aligned ...

  • Text size

I have noticed that the editor does not display the current font size when the Properties window is re accesses after previosuly setting the font size through the window.
