• Editing external css style sheets on the fly

I use the Firefox plugin from Chris Pederick http://www.chrispederick.com/work/web-developer to edit externally called style sheet formatting within the editor preview window. This enables changes to be made to the styles and be immediately viewed. I then save the edited style sheet to my local hard drive and upload the saved file to the ...

  • Floating layer borders

How can I make the solid blue borders displayed on floating divs into 1 pixel thick dotted light grey dashed lines instead of the distracting 2 pixel thick solid lines that are displayed by default? Also, when the temporary borders are displayed on both absolute positioned divs and on divs that have relative positioning applied to ...

Would that be a matter of having different versions of the editor set up manually for individual langiages and a user selecting the appropriate one for their language, or is something more sophisticated ...

  • frame names

It would be good to be able to name a targeted iframe within in the Insert Hyperlink window target area. I sometimes use iframes and want to be able to target an on-page iframe to display a selected image or document without having to go into the code view to set up the target=''myspecialframe'' attribute in a link.

  • Absolute div default visible border

We have tried to change the default settings for the blue outlines that display around absolute layers. We want the outlines to be hidden by default and display only when requested by a user clicking the Visible Borders button. We have been unable to change the default setting that displays the outlines even though we have ...
