Do you have a user management table which contains the all the regular users and admins?
Or do you have any login page?
After the user log in, you can set the session to the current user.

Okay.I did it, and it didn't give me the is_dir error.But still when I press ''Upload files'' nothing happens.
The same on insert flash, and insert media. When I press ''Upload files'' absolutely nothing happens.
I tried different tempfolders, and also the exact ''/mytempfolder'', but not much happened... tried also with an / at the end, but no ...

Not quite sure how to test the demo. The link brings up a page where there are 3 links to the DNN demos. I can't seem to locate the Cute editor such that I may attempt a file upload. Please advise.

I think I am getting a headache. This is an editor for flowing text into an application. For some crazy idea I would NEVER want some person to be able to edit ASP code on the fly …I see red flag everywhere… I hope a hacker never gets on your site. Editing HTML Files is risky as it is, but ASP Code.......

I would like to help you, but unfortunately what your are asking seems more complicated then simple coding ... Based on what you described, I think you will need to create a visual interface for your clients before you can even start implenting your editor ... I mean, how are you setting up your editor so that clients can choose a page to edit??? ...

I checked the sample that Oleg sent and it fails on my computer as well. I am using IE 7.0.5... and also Firefox 3.0.7. Are you following the instructions in the email for testing? Below is an image of the failed load in IE.
