That is expected behavior.
Because when the Flash version >=10 or Silverlight version >=3
The addon do now allow javascript show the browsing dialog.
So AjaxUploader put a transparent layer , and let user click the Flash/Silverlight to show the dialog.

Hi,
The 2G size limitation is for each files.
If you upload many files and total size is 4G , it will be OK.
If you force the UploadType to Silverlight , It will skip the server side configuration.

I think your problem is that the uploader silverlight component not able to be loaded at browser.

I am sorry. It was a case of stupid user error. I had an incorrect value set for requestLimits maxAllowedContentLength. You would think by now I would know how to convert megabytes to bytes. Thanks for your help.
