• Re: stylesheet - MY BAD

Oh man... my bad. And I _do_ mean BAD. Like amateur-hour bad... I uploaded the new Editor Client files, but when I updated I forgot to update the bin/ files (dll, etc). Sorry to have taken up your time. Very bad. Quite embarrassing. Humbly going away now.... Thanks for your extensive efforts at resolving my silly error. Dean

Oops... just re-read that - that is exactly my concern at this point - none of them seem to want to run in IE for me right now... including the ones that came as demos/examples

I emailed that to you... That simple example loads in Netscape (and appears to work), but not in Explorer?

Interestingly, even though it throws this error in Netscape, in IE (even though it does not completely load successfully), the images menu does show the added items as expected. Dean

I notice that netscape throws a completely different error that appears to be an app error. This might give you better information (and me, for that matter): Server Error in '/falcon' Application. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web ...

Yes this is related to the project... the examples also throw the same error, but (obviously - since I am typing this post), it is not to do with browser configuration. It is related to the same project I have been working on for a while. The site is online, but password protected... if you could email me privately I can provide you ...

  • stylesheet

Hey there - I am trying to embed the editor, and had, but after updating to 4.0.0.6 (thanks for adding the option to bypass the automatic cleanup, btw), I keep getting an error 'stylesheet' is null or not an object, and the editor does not successfully load... I cannot select the tools or type text. Any thoughts? Dean

  • dumb mode?

I have had a few issues with some html that is driving me a little nuts... some stuff that was very tricky to format gets ''fixed'' by the Cutesoft Editor and the subtle formatting gets messed up. Is there a way to run the editor in ''dumb'' mode - so it just accepts what it is given, and does not make modifications, or ''fixes''? If ...

  • Re: ampersand

OK... I have worked around this by defining links with a tag [XXXAMPXXX] then subbing that out with a mail merge when the mail is actually sent... but am I off-base to think that ampersands within a tag should be left alone?

Thanks for taking the time to respond... I understand that if you type an & in the body that it should be converted, but this is as part of a link... how do I accomplish creating an href that contains parameters? Is there some way to escape it so it doesn't get converted? For instance... <a href=''/somepage.aspx> Cute ...
