• Re: No new "tab" showing up to chat with invited guests

It seems fishy that over the last 10 days, everyone who has accepted a chat then clicks on the close button? I find it hard to believe that they'd all initially accept and then kill the window? Is there anything else we can do to test to make sure this is working properly? Thanks, -S

  • No new "tab" showing up to chat with invited guests

We have our chat working again with our ISP. Now that we're able to invite people, we're seeing some issues. When we se guests browsing, we often right click on them and invite them to chat. Many times they decline (which causes them to drop out of the Website Vistors list, which I am guessing is correct behavior). Sometimes they accept. ...

  • Re: ISP shut us down

Looking at my log above, for example, I see nine requests in the one second of 6:12:12 (I think they're using GMT/no DST timestamps).

  • ISP shut us down

Our ISP shut us down today, saying we had too many HTTP POSTs coming from our office to the live support chat. This coincided with us having a fourth rep install/start up the live support chat client and start it up. Otherwise we'd been running OK since January. I can provide our chat system URL and access upon request. ...

  • Re: Cute Live Support 4.1 is out!

A change log would be nice, thank you. FWIW, I just uninstalled version 2.0 of the chat client, and installed version 4.1, and pointed it at our production back-end (still running same server-side code) and everything appears OK so far. Our plan is to upgrade me, then the rest of our client apps, then upgrade the server code off-hours. ...

  • Exception while testing Join/Chat Transfer

Hello, We were testing out the feature to join/leave chat. I was the customer, clicked to connect. Our rep Jamie accepted the connection in his operator client. Our rep Peter then right clicked on the Customer entry and said Join. This worked, both were able to IM me (the customer). Then Jamie dropped off clicking the X ...

  • Re: HELP - Failed to connect chat service: System.Exception: CONNECTION:ERROR

FYI I had the same issue, probably since 12/12/2007, first noticed it on 12/14/2007. The license file in the zip has me up and running again. Will purchase real license shortly - based on this good support forum! Thanks, -A
