• Re: £ in pdf

I think they are having big problems with conversion to PDF. I reported a problem a while ago and (despite an initial response from Adam -- thank you), the problem is still unresolved. I notice another post from someone else with a similar HTML -> PDF problem ... and again the thread goes quiet. I am currently looking at other ...

  • Re: Convert HTML to PDF creates damaged PDF

Hi Adam, The code in that thread is practically identical to mine. However, I have reworked my code to be in line with that thread and it makes no difference. For the ''simple'' piece of text ''Hello Adam'', the pdf is written, but Adobe complains that it is damaged. For the more complicated version of the text (the table), it ...

There are a couple of references to ''ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings[''DictionaryFolder'']'' in the file SpellCheck.aspx For .Net 2, these should be changed to read: ''System.Configuration.ConfigurationManager.AppSettings[''DictionaryFolder'']'' Regards Paul

  • Re: Process text after "Insert Templates"

Hi Adam, Thanks for your response. Basically, I am using the templates to generate the texts of letters and e-mails which are transmitted later. The template will say something like: ''Dear %name%''. After I load the template, I then process the text and substitute ''%name%'' for, say, ''Adam''. I am currently achieving this by ...

  • Process text after "Insert Templates"

I have a template which, after ''inserting'', I wish to process. In the template I have a number of ''fields'' which I want to substitute other text in. EG, I want to look for %name% ans drop in the user's name. The problem I am having is detecting when the user has pressed the ''insert templates'' button and the text has been loaded. Any ...
