• Re: Span tag appears inside of link tag

    Well, the issue seems to have solved itself somehow (on the test page I put up facing the internet anyway). It was still happening a few days ago, now it just works and I didn't change anything. Go figure. I did notice a weird bug in FireFox 2.0.0.12 though. When I use the second bit of example text and select everything as ...

    Hi Adam, Sorry it took so long, but I got permission to post the test page externally. I sent you the URL in a PM

    Hi Adam, I'll see about getting approval for posting this on the internet. I can't post the first example as it is part of a much larger application, but the second one should be no problem.

  • Re: Span tag appears inside of link tag

    Hi Adam, I have made a page with only an instance of cute editor on it (straight out of the download package, with the license copied over) and the issue still persists. Here is the code for the entire page: <!-- #include file=''CuteEditor''CuteEditor_Files''include_CuteEditor.asp'' --> <% ...

    Hi Adam. That was the first thing I did. Rhonda was quite helpful in getting me download a download link for version 6.0. She resent the initial order email and told me that the download link gets the latest build. Unfortunately the same issue occurs.

  • Span tag appears inside of link tag

    When I create a link inside some text then select all the text in the editor and change the class, the editor adds a span tag inside the link tag only it there is a <p> tag in the page. When I remove the <p> tags there is no problem. I seem to be unable to replicate the issue in the online demo, but it happens in a fresh install of ...

  • Upload progress bar

    I'm having an issue where some users think the editor is broken when all they have to do if wait a couple of minutes for an upload to complete. Is there a built in progress bar for tracking uploads? I didn't see anything on your website about it, but that doesn't necessarily mean in not there. (especially if I'm the one looking)

  • Re: Retrieving selected text

    Thanks much Adam. It took a little bit, you pointed me in the right direction. This was what I needed:     range = editor1.GetSelection().createRange();

  • Re: Retrieving selected text

    I have version 6.0 here so I guess there's no ''_Format'' function for me. I hope I'm missing something because I've had no luck using ranges and CuteEditor together. The following javascript works fine on a little test page I made, but in CuteEditor it doesn't grab anything. tmp = document.selection.createRange(); strSelText = ...

  • Retrieving selected text

    Is there a built in way to pull the text that the user selected out of CuteEditor? After browsing this forum I thought there might be something in _Format, but can't find a listing or guide to using that particular function. Is there one available? Jaheckelsafar
