• Switching between views changes HTML

Hello, In our site, we load HTML that was created with an old WYSIWYG editor that's no longer supported and I am having a hard time getting CuteEditor to display our HTML content correctly, probably because the old editor we had din't use any kind of HTML standards/formatting and the HTML is in bad shape. Anyways, when ...

  • Re: Can't Get Editor To Render Fully

Does anyone have an idea about a fix for what I reported above? getSelection doesn't have an easy way to check for the selection type (None, Text or Control) and that check is performed in various places in the editor source code.

  • Re: Cursor Disappears - Chrome

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to, since a consulting firm is rewriting out site and I don't have access to all of the code. I will see if I can reproduce this issue in a dummy MVC/Classic ASP project and get back to you later.

It's me again. :) NOTE: You can read everything I wrote below, but the important part is found under the IE 11 Change section below. Though the fix I listed above allows the editor to render fully under IE 11, none of the buttons work now. The errors I'm getting now are listed below. Once again, these ...

  • Cursor Disappears - Chrome

Hello, I am having a small issue with the editor in Chrome. Whenever I hit the ENTER key, the cursor disappears. I can continue typing, but there's just no visual representation of the cursor. I'm using the editor in a Classic ASP page, which is loaded inside an MVC application and this appears to be the issue with the ...

  • Re: Can't Get Editor To Render Fully

NOTE: I fixed the code, for my purposes. See the FIX section below. I wanted to test something this morning, so I opened out site on IE 10 and the editor renders correctly. On my computer I am running IE 11 and the editor isn't rendering. I have downloaded the 11-23-2013 file from your site, which I believe contains the ...

  • Can't Get Editor To Render Fully

I am trying to get the updated editor (with IE 11 fixes) working on our new server, but I'm having issue getting the toolbar and editor to render. The outline of the editor renders with the Normal, HTML and Preview tabs, but they don't do anything and the toolbar doesn't render at all. When I use "Inspect Element" ...

  • Toolbar Copy Button and Context Menu Copy Option Issue

When I use the toolbar Copy button or the Context menu Copy option, I receive an alert to use CTRL+C to copy text. Why and how can it be resolved? Note, this happens in your live demo too.

  • Find and Replace Bug in Internet Explorer

When using the Find/Replace feature in Internet Explorer (10 and 11) and I click the Cancel button on the dialog, the following message is displayed: "The webpage you are viewing is trying to close the tab. Do you want to close this tab?" If I chose NO, then the Find/Replace dialog stays open. If I choose YES, then my ...
