• Re: PasteText Not functioning as expected

Adam, I would like to add though, the Paste Plain Text toolbar button which brings up the paste dialog box does work in Safari - though not all the time. Sometimes it works, sometimes it closes when you click insert but does not add the text, and sometimes the insert button does not respond.

Adam, This has now been fixed in IE. However, setting the EditorOnPaste property to pastepuretext in Safari (which our clients use), has no effect. The control still pastes pure HTML. I think the same issue arises with pastetext.

  • 5.3 changes in safari

Hi, Since upgrading to v5.3, Cutecontrol is rendering with margins of about 4px in SAFARI - It's fine in IE. How can I turn this off, either by modifying the stylesheet file for safari or through properties on the control (either TextAreaStyle, EditorBodyStyle & EditorWysiwygModeCSS). So far, nothing I've tried works. Gary

  • PasteText Not functioning as expected

I need to change the HTML code people are pasting straight into the editor, and simply paste the text only. I thought the PasteText of the PasteBehavior Enumeration would deal with this, but it adds extra <P> tags which is not what I need. I need the text to be pasted as purely text (nothing else), no <P> tags, or anything. At ...

  • Safari Underline Issue

I'm trying to implement a version of the CuteEditor control with no toolbars, due to a limited editing area. I only need the basic format controls (Bold, Italic & Underline), but have an issue with the keyboard shortcuts when using Safari on the MAC. On the PC, I can use Ctrl B, I & U for Bold, italic & underline to achieve what ...

  • TextBox instead of Textarea

Is it possible to force CuteEditor to render a textbox instead of a textarea. Many of the uses for the control are for a simple one line entry allowing only simple formatting (Bold, italic, underline), and absolutely, no carriage returns. The problem at the moment, is when pressing 'Enter', the whole line wraps down and I get scroll bars. ...
