Re: Errors connecting to chat in Internet Explorer, but not Firefox
I'm trying it but getting application errors. What section in web.config should it go in. I'm a .net noob. Update: Tried it in the protocol section and I don't get app errors, but get the same errors as before. Also I did do an iisreset if that matters.

Web Messenger open chat in new window
Users complain that when they are using the Internet and a
chat
message comes in it takes them from where they are in IE to the
chat
window. What do I have to do to make web messenger
chat
open in a new window leaving IE alone where the user is browsing?

Install the latest version of DNN Livesupport found here: http://cutesoft.net/downloads/folders/current_releases/entry21860.aspx The first Error, I came across was that the v.5 license did not work, so I was given a v4 license key to get this functioning. Re: Failed to connect chat service
I have the same issue with LiveSupport and DNN 4.7. The URL is correct, but I have no users in any of the DB (perhaps it is using the DNN DB). I can configure the DNN module, but I'm unable to create operators and therefore I'm unable to login with the Client. Is there a way to manually create an operator, so I can test whether I'll be able ...

Re: Chat with the customer on livesupport
Here are the answers: CuteEditor uses Regular expression to fix and parse html code. A syntax that use a feature (the ? to signal non-greedy pattern matching) not supported in older versions of the Windows Scripting Host (WSH). BTW You should not be running machines still with WSH 5.1 because of vulnerabilities. ...

Re: Rane Server Error on Chat Load
SonicSam wrote:Exactly the same here, any sollutions?I posted this topic, Emailed support and sent a PM and I haven't heard anything back yet. Pretty frustrating since the documentation doesn't say anything about stand-alone installation unless you are using one of those 6 portal software. This looks like a great product but it ...
