Uploaded not working on remote server

I am currently unable to upload pictures on the remote server. running locally all is fin, but I have deployed it on the remote server, with the admin console only available once they have logged into the admin pages for the site.

I can create categories OK, but the Upload Files button doesn't do anything on the remote server, whereas it works fine on localhost. I have added the purchased licence file into the licences folder, and that appears to be ok.
