I tested this issue in http://cutesoft.net/example/general.aspx and cannot reproduce.

Which version are you using? You can refer to http://cutesoft.net/forums/thread/63660.aspx and detect the build date of cuteedtior.dll.
My test steps are as follows:

1. Open http://cutesoft.net/example/general.aspx

2. Switch to "HTML"

3. Remove all content

4. Switch back to "Normal"

5. Input the following line:

   "this is a test"

6. Choose word "test" and change its color to "red"

7. Continue to input:

    ",the test has been finished"

8. All those texts in step 7 will be red

9. Choose "finished" and change color to blue

All these color changes are finished successful.

I tried the steps you mentioned in http://cutesoft.net/example/general.aspx, but the issue occurs in a different scenario.

 

Assume I want to type words "RED" in red color and "BLUE" in blue color.

 

 - When I select font color as red and type "RED", the word appears red.

 - Now if I select blue font color, the color of "RED" changes to blue. Which is not desired.

 

Please check this and let us know.
