Attached TIF File not stored correct - Page 2 missing

    Hi all,

I have a TIFF File (file.tif) which has 2 pages. Its size is 43 KB. I upload it to CuteEditor and save it there. When I open the file then and store it on my local drive, I see it is modified during the upload.....? Its size increased from 43 KB to 396 KB, and only the first page is displayed! I don't care about the change of the file size, but of course it's important to keep all the pages within this TIF-File. The only workaround currently is to zip the file before upload (and disallow the upload of tif-files). We are using Cute Editor 6.4.

Could you please check how this could be fixed? Thanks!

Please send the  TIFF file to me which you test before.

    We will  do some tests.

    Hi Ken,

as the TIF File contains company data I could not share it. It should be repeatable with every multi-page TIFF File.

    Thanks

Please turn off Automatic Image Resize feature then try again.

    Reason:

The bit depth of your Tiff file is only 1. After resizing the depth is changed to 32, so the file size is changed too.

Re: Attached TIF File not stored correct - Page 2 missing

    Hi Adam,

thanks for the tip, now it works.

But now I have another problem: I've set MaxImageWidth and MaxImageHeight to 1600 each. It seems that CuteEditor checks this size even if I use the PDF-Icon ('Downloadable Files') to upload. I would guess that CuteEditor uses these Max-Sizes just for inline images, not for downloadable content. I still want to keep the Max-Sizes but only for images uploaded to be displayed inline. For images which are just displayed as link I don't want any size restrictions or automatic resize. Is this possible to configure?

    Thanks
    Kai
