I'm having an issue with the CuteSoft ASP editor.

 

I'm pasting in text from notepad onto the CuteSoft editor, this text includes special characters like apostrophes, open quotes, and closed quotes.

 

When the text is pasted into the CuteSoft editor, the special character display fine.  It isn't until the file with that text is published where the garbage text appears.

 

By simply going back to the file that I just saved through CuteSoft ASP editor, you can see the garbage text appear within the editor itself:

 

Open Quotes are appearing as: “

 

Closed Quotes are appearing as: ”

 

Apostrophes are appearing as: ’

 

This is something directly related to your editor.

 

If I were to open that same file after it was just saved from CuteSoft editor into dreamweaver, I don't see the garbage text at all.  If I were to save that file again after just opening it, it'll save with that garbage text.

Can you try this example?
