Calling "Upload Files" button from code

We have been evaluating your AJAX Uploader control and have come to a design issue. We want to hide the "Upload Files" button and call it from a toolbar within our ASP.NET app. I found a method to upload one file but not multiple.

Hi,

Please try:

var uploader=document.getElementById("<%=Uploader1.ClientID%>");
uploader.browseclick()

But you need to know the browser or Flash compability issue.

for Firefox+IFrame mode, it would show the <input type=file> again.

for Flash10 , it may show 'Open File Dialog Blocked' message.

You can create an image button control for the uploader and include it with your toolbar.

Please check this example:

Simple Upload with Progress (Customizing the UI)
A sample demonstrates how to customize the look and feel of file upload controls.

The source code of this example can be found in the download package.

Please make sure you set MultipleFilesUpload property to true.
