Using Classical ASP version 6 (5 2007)

 

I had set up an editor, configured and tested paths for files (images, media...) management and everything worked fine.

Then I set the property CustomCulture = "it-IT" and the editor was (partially, I've to find the time to complete that work) translated but now everyone of the buttons used to manage files opens its own dialog in which only appears this error message: "The area you are attempting to access is forbidden".

Does anyone have suggestion? Ideas? Is that a known bug? Workarounds?

Hi Adam,

   I solved the problem! Perhaps it was a mistake of mine but I thought it could be considered as a minor bug too.

 

The problem probably not raise frequently (almost never I guess) because it happens on pages with two or more C.E. with different CustomCulture sets or one set and the other not and vice-versa.

 

I'll found that doing myself a little debugging on the code; if you like I can e-mail you where I found the problem but I'm sure now you have already understood all.
