I modified the InsertFlash.aspx page per an earlier post and added

files.AddRange(fs.GetFileItems(CurrentDirectory, secset.FileNamePrefix + "*.flv"));

in the GetFiles method and also return

return ((filename.EndsWith(".swf") || filename.EndsWith(".flv")) ? true : false);

in the AllowFileName method. However, when i try to upload a .flv file nothing happens. There is no error message or any other action after i select the filie. I can upload a .swf file but i am not able to upload a .flv file. I have searched in this forum but am unable to find any solution. please help.

Hi Adam,

I saw the thread that you had mentioned in your reply to this post. I followed the instructions in that thread first and when it didn't fix my issue, i posted my question on this forum.

I am using the SqlFileStorage class to store my images, .swf and .flv. however, when i try to upload the .flv files, i am able to select my .flv file but after i select the .flv file from the modal, the InsertFlash.aspx stays non-responsive without any error message or anything else.

The modal dialog almost freezes and nothing happens. Per the previous thread there is no page called InsertFlashFrame,aspx in CuteEditor 6.0 (my version)

Any more tips please?

Flv files are supported in version 6.1.1 now.

Now you can Embed FLV Flash Videos in your sites easily.

Do I need to enable anything to see the flv ?

as you can see from the image below I dont get the Enable Flash menu and Allow FullScreen options on my dialog

also when I select a flv the right side window doesnt play the flv. but as the second image show it says its not available ?

Please help
