I am using the trial version of version CuteEditor for .NET v6.0.

Creating a document and saving it in an Oracle DB works fine, and so does re-opening that same document in CuteEditor.

 

But, in my application I also need to convert Microsoft Word documents to HTML, and I would like to re-open them for editing in the CuteEditor. But if I save the HTML in my DB and send it to the CuteEditor for editing, it does not work.

I do not receive any error, just the HTML is shown in the CuteEditor and not the formatted text.

 

What can I do to solve this?

Sorry for the late reply, but I was on vacation.

 

The application allows the user to upload a Word document to the server, this is then opened using the Microsoft.Interop.Word classes in .NET and converted to HTML. This HTML is then saved in the database by using the CLOB data type in Oracle.

I uploaded a simple example in the application with just 4 lines of text and 1 word on each line (Bold, Underline, Italics, and All).

Attached please find 2 screenshots of the data shown in the CuteEditor:

It seems like the Italics formatting is not being recognized and there is alot of extra code too.
