Hi,

While trying to build an asp.net application with the lastest build of CuteEditor I get the following error message

Error 1 The base class includes the field 'InputFile', but its type (CuteEditor.UploadSingleFile) is not compatible with the type of control (System.Web.UI.HtmlControls.HtmlInputFile). C:\Documents and Settings\Alan\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Projects\MyProject\Source\CuteSoft_Client\CuteEditor\Dialogs\safari_insertflash.aspx 1

And older version of the Cuteeditor may have been used on the this development machine at one point.

Do you know how this can be resolved?

Alan,

Remove CuteEditor reference from your solution.

Add the reference to the new CuteEditor.dll.

Recompile your project.

I too am getting that error. My project references the new 6.1 DLL. What can I do to fix this?

When upgrading, please delete the old client files then copy the new client files. It should fix this issue.

Keep me posted.
