Hi!

Does the chat and messenger support mysql? Search the forums and found that you have started to develop this a couple of years ago, but if you look at the requirements then mysql is not supported… Have I missed something?

MySQL is not supported by Cute Chat.

Please use the following Database: SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, Oracle, MSDE or Access.

Ok, but there are some posts in this forum where it is stated that they have started working on support or help files regarding mysql. We are a very big community and changing DB is not an option.

Ok, but if mysql is not supported, how much work is it to alter this by your self? Are all sql commands etc placed in DB classes? Does the DB UI depend on DB procedure support?

What licence do I need to alter the source of the chat and messenger application?

That's a lot of work for you because you don't familar our code. Basically you need to create a data provider for MySQL. We just don't have time to do it now.

For example:

public class MSAccessDataProvider : BaseDataProvider,IAppDataProvider{}
