Ok - This also must be a common problem - I hope.  I set up a field on my database to store the html data.  I used a blob type.  When I did testing everything worked pretty smoothly but then I typed something like this.

 

That's great.  I then tried to upload and I got an SQL error.  I know there must be some str_replace code that I should be attaching but I don't know what it is?

 

Any advise?

Can you explain it in more details?

 

That wasn't a very clear post.  I was having a sql insert error when the edited data had quotes (single or double) in it.  Think I got it working now.  I used - pulling from the db html_entity_decode($edit_info) - pushing to the database I used urlencode(stripslashes($edit_info))

 

It works - might not be the best but little of my code probably is.  If you know of better way I am sure open to hear.
