Got a simple question, how can I make the length of the nicknames longer? Its now on 12chars. thats for Dutch names way too small. I need something about 25-30. Is this possible, if so where can I do this?

Please let me know also if it is Not possible please.

Yes. It's possible.

 

Please open the following file:

 

CuteSoft_Client\CuteChat\ChatClient.js

 

And modify the following code: 

 

 if(name==null)throw(_SL_CreateException(TEXT("UI_CONNECTION_MissingNickName")));
 if(name.length<3)throw(_SL_CreateException(TEXT("UI_CONNECTION_ShortNickName")));
 if(name.length>12)throw(_SL_CreateException(TEXT("UI_CONNECTION_LongNickName")));

Thanks for the reply, however the 3 lines you mentioned are nowhere to find in the:

"ChatClient.js" file. Could you please double check for me, since I realy need to have the nicknames longer.

I btw downloaded the latest version and I'm using the "Framework 2.0 Web" version.
I purchased the single domain license.

I understand but the 3 lines of code you mentioned are not in the ChatClient.js file.
Please check it yourself, you will see.
So can you please help me....Or sent me the right ChatClient.js file please...

Again thanks for the reply. I added your code, but unfortunatly it is still not working.
I get a new message though: I added a screenshot of the message.
