    Active Directory

We have a cusom portal and we would like to give chat functionality to our users.  Currently we use forms authentication against our active directory.  I would like to make this a single sign on experience for the user.  It was mentioned in an other post that activedirectory is supported but I have not found any docs on the topic.  Can some one point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

    Hi lasellGuy :

Yes , the CuteChat support any user-data-model , including the ActiveDirectory .

You need to implement your own providers for CuteChat:
1.Inherits the CuteChat.SqlServer.SqlDataProvider to list the user name and get the user display name
    2.Implement the to provider the logined-user-information .

I am tired today , I will write a sample for you . And you could modify my sample to fix your requrements .

    Regards , Terry .

Dear Terry,  I am also interested in making use of Forms Authentication with Cute Chat, and I was wondering if you would be able to send me the code that you mentioned above.

    Thanks

    Re: Active Directory

    Hi Terry,

We are also in the same problem... we wish to integrate Active directory users in CuteChat.... Thanks.

Also, we are in problems to print the timestamp at the chat window... we have checked the option at the menu but it still is not working.

    Kind regards.
