    Javascript error message:
    "Line: 2
    Char: 26222

    Code:0"

Steps to reproduce the same using below links,

    http://www.cutesoft.net/forums/AddPost.aspx

Click anyone of the link.  Type some contents -> select a text/keyword -> click Hyperlink button in toolbar -> browse to select a html page -> select "watch.htm" -> click preview button to view the source content -> in preview state, click normal/html button.

    Re: Permission denied javascript error

I hit an issue similar to that and it ended up being that my CuteSoft_Client folder and subdirectories were marked read only from when I checked out of source control.  Might not be the same issue, but worth double-checking.  The entire directory structure needs to be read-write.

Re: can't dupe Permission denied error

    Hi Karen,

Yes. You need to click hyperlink text/keyword contained in the preview window.

    Again i'll repeat,

Steps to reproduce the same using below links,
    http://cutesoft.net/example/general.aspx
    http://www.cutesoft.net/forums/AddPost.aspx

Click anyone of the above link.  Type some contents in cute editor -> select a text/keyword -> click Hyperlink button in toolbar -> browse to select a html page -> select "watch.htm" -> click preview button to view the source in content -> in preview state/window ->  click anyone of the text/keyword hyperlink then -> click normal/html button to see javascript error.

Re: can't dupe Permission denied error

I am having this problem as well.  It seems like the best solution would be to open links in a new window if the user clicks on those links from the preview view.

Has anyone found a solution to this?

Re: can't dupe Permission denied error

    Hi Adam,

I have tested with the demo server link

    Demo:

Here is the report; issue occurs again if i choose target value to "same window" and for rest of the values "Not Set", "New Window", "Topmost Window", and "Parent Window" works fine.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1) Select/block any text -> click Hyperlink -> opens Hyperlink property popup window -> browse for a file say "watch.htm" -> choose target "same window" -> click ok.

    2) Click "preview" button to see html content -> click the hyperlink text -> opens "watch.htm" in same window -> now click "Normal" or "HTML" button to reproduce the error.

    Comments:
Here problem is end-user requires "re-composition of entire html content once again", because entire browser window hangs up and it mandates browser window to be closed upon error being thrown.

Is it possible to suppress javascript error, and also to retain browser window in active state?

    Regards
    Krishna Kanth.
