Version 5- Out of stack space on form submit error

By taking the 'simple.asp' example form that came with the version 5 editor, if you
submit the form through javascript instead of using a standard 'submit' button; the editor
goes into an infinite loop and crashes with an out of stack space message.

To duplicate, change the submit button in the 'simple.asp' page to:

<input type="button" value="Submit" ID="Submit1" NAME="Submit1" onclick="document.theForm.submit();">

I applied the hotfix; but now I get 'Variable _CState is undefined' in IE; Firefox loads it but will not save. Was there something wrong with the hotfix?

Please download the software again and overwrite all the client files.

Hi Adam, thanks for the hotfix. My form managed to submit properly using Javascript now. It's working great in Internet Explorer but looks like it's still broken in Firefox. The Firefox Javascript Console gives

Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Illegal operation on WrappedNative prototype object" nsresult: "0x8057000c (NS_ERROR_XPC_BAD_OP_ON_WN_PROTO)" location: "JS frame :: http://server123/project456/html3/CuteEditor_Files/Gecko.js.asp?UC=en-en :: Ox25c :: line 5" data: no]

Please advise.

Hi Adam, is anyone working on this issue?

The error occus in FireFox when we use javascript to submit the form instead of using "submit" button. Internet Explorer is working just fine after the hotfix you provided above.

Pls advise.

Is anyone looking into this? It has been 1.5 weeks since and my client is not too happy with the response. ;(

I still haven't receive any reply from the technical support term on this issue. And my client's project is now on hold just because of this! We are running behind schedule now. :(

The previous version of CuteEditor is great, that's why we upgrade to make it our interface cross browser compatible. But the current situation is turning bad. Real bad unless someone take actions fast!

Can some support crew look into our problem of submitting the form in Firefox using a simple form.submit() ? It simply can't be done! Pls help!!
