Hello,

I'm using Cute Editor 4.0 in Source Code License and sometimes I get this message :

"Can't change the setting unless it's created by the Editor", when I'm clicking on a button of a page. (PostBack)

How can I prevent having this message by changing my code or changing the cuteEditor code?

Can you post your code?

It would be really helpful if you could send us a sample aspx page which demonstrates the exact problem with more information.

I'll try to make a example but it is quite difficult because the problem appears randomly and never on localhost.

It is always when it is hosted.

It seems to appear when the Editor hasn't load completly and a postback is sent.

Can you give information when this message is thrown?

Of course, I notice the message Exception is thrown in EditorSetting.cs on the condition ce==null but I do not understand why and when the ce can be null ???

Why is important to test ce==null here?

Can't I do something else if ce==null? Something that makes it not null anymore?

Haderach,

Class EditorSetting represents the setting of the Cute Editor. It can't be null.

Sorry I can't discuss the details of the source code further more.
