ASP Image Gallery - thumb.aspx error

I've created the virtual directory in our company intranet server and copied trail version.

If i tried to upload any new image, i couldnt see any thumbnail image on the folder.

Still I can see the uploaded (new) image.

I'm getting http error 500 @ thumb.aspx. Please find attached screen shot.

What kind of folder permission, we need to give "defaultalbum" folder.?

Single Quote issue

Hi we are using this component and working fine . Recently we are facing one small issue can you please provide some solution for this.

when the image file name contain single quote or image title contain single quote the gallary not displaying.

Category Restrictions

I need view restrictions based on users like My Friends, My Family and Public like. The category should be viewd by Family members like that.

do we have any option like this?

Hi all:

I'm evaluating this control and love it so far. I can't get the admin piece working, however, and that's a deal breaker. I've been muddling around the past 2 days and I've narrowed the issue down to this: when I add the property AllowEdit="True", the page error appears. The page itself runs, but I get the little yield sign in the bottom of the browser stating "object expected". The admin pop-up does pop-up, but when I click on the 'Upload Files' button, nothing happens.

Any ideas? I am using a master file, and I NEED to use the master file.

Any ideas how to solve please?

Slide show speed default

Is there a way to set the speed of the slide show to default to 'faster' or some arbitrary speed while initializing the gallery?

I couldn't see anything in the code to do this.

Also tried changing line 59 of /aspgallery/resources/Layout/SlideShow/Code.js this._speed=5.0; to a larger value and don't see any result in the player either.

Can you point me in the right direction to the docs or wherever I might make this change....

Dear Mr. Kenneth,

Thanks very much for your support of installing the demo of the ASP Image Gallery on our server. We managed to give the appropriate permissions and test the demo. After all, we're very satisfied with it and decided to purchase the software in a couple of days. I just have some concerns I hope that you can help me.

On our website, the link was written as GalleryDemo. Is this "demo" word going to disappear after we purchase it? and what are our options to integrate the gallery on our website? Are there any widgets that we can use or do we have to link to its own page?

I'm sorry if those are silly questions but I recently started to learn the system and I don't know much about the Community Server, not the ASP applications.

Category Question

Currently in the Demo on your site there are 22 photos in Default, 1 in Test, and 1 in Test2. But when you open the slide show it shows all 24 photos. I try to open a category thinking it should display 22 in Default, or 1 in Test, or 1 in Test2.

I guess my question is what are Categories used for? I thought it would be like creating multiple photo albums. Am I missing something?
