Problem with Firefox 20.0.1

Hi,

I've update the PHPfileUploader at the latest version and i have solved the problems with uploading images in IE10.

Now there is a problem with Firefox 20.0.1: When the server try to initialize the uploader i always get this error:

Error when initialize uploader : Ox19a.getComputedStyle(...) is null

Hi Team,

I am using Php fileuploader.And Iam facing these wierd problem

- The uploder is working for IE7,IE8 but not working on IE9

- In Firefox,Chrome the title is changing to CSS1Compat,because of the quirk mode,but in IE its not changing

Iam really stuck with these problems.If someone is having the solution .Please reply

Hi,

I am using PHP file uploaded for one of my personal projects. I am facing this weird issue wherein the Window title changes to CSS1Compat when the files are being uploaded. I tried to manually set the title, but somehow, I still see that CSS1Compat title coming in title and then changing again to my set value.

Can somebody let me know how to prevent this title change during uploads?

erorr while uploading files

Sometimes when uploading files i get the following my error log filled with these errors:

[17-Apr-2013 13:37:34] PHP Notice: iconv() [<a href='function.iconv'>function.iconv</a>]: Detected an illegal character in input string in include_phpuploader.php on line 70

line 70 is:

$ar[$k] = iconv("UCS-2",$PhpUploader_InternalEncoding,pack("H4",substr($v,-4)));

I got no clue what it means, It happens to me with a certain file all the time and no matter what i rename it too it still keeps on doing this error, the file cannot get uploaded...

Any hints?

non-english file name errors

Hello,

I downloaded a trial version of php file uploader and i got a problem

when i try to upload a file with a non-english file name the upload fails with error : Unable to find file >filename< in >dirname<

Any ideas how to solve that?

DialogFilter not filtering

Using the PHP File UpLoader I am having problems getting DialogFilter to properly show image files in widows 7.

the syntax that I'm using is

       $uploader->DialogFilter="Images (jpg/gif/png)|*.jpg;*.gif;*.png";

When its present windows displays "All Files" when its commented out windows displays "Custom Files".

What am I doing wrong?

Clicking on File upload button does nothing

I'm new to PHP File Uploader and have downloaded the trial to try it out. copied all files in the archive to a folder called PHPfileuploader.

clicking on the included demo.htm brings up the menu. selecting any of the demos displays the File Upload button and does nothing else. is there something I'm missing?

Do I need to modify the PHP5.ini file? Does the .htaccess file need to be modified?

Hi guys,

I bought your script a long time back for my site (www.epicradio.net).

I remember having a few problems at the time but I figured them out, got it installed and working...

Since then I've re-worked the site and I need to get it going again.. I'm trying but getting a lot of issues...

See the following link for a screenshot of the errors I'm having (the error up the top is constantly there and the one in the popup box happens just after trying to upload a file once it gets to 100%..

Reverse proxy and PhpFileUploader

Does PhpFileUploader work behind a reverse proxy ?

For instance : my domain is my.domain (for a licence PhpFileUploader) :

Behind the reverse proxy, I shall have since my site :

$_SERVER[HTTP_HOST] = my.domain.prod.ac

$_SERVER[HTTP_X_FORWARDED_HOST] = my.domain

Is PhpFileUploader going to make the connection between HTTP_HOST and HTTP_X_FORWARDED_HOST ?

Processing Uploaded Files with PHP

First of all, let me apologize for my ignorance here. I work a lot with PHP, but hardly at all with Javascript/Ajax, etc. I love your uploader, and have got it working using a simple upload process.

However, I plan to use it to upload images to the gallery section of our site. I currently have a PHP script that I run on single image uploads that resizes the uploaded image, creates a thumbnail and saves the thumbnail and resized image to our gallery directories.

I'm completely baffled at how to get the php uploader to allow my admins to upload multiple files, but then run my usual script on each of the uploaded files. I've looked through the example files that came in the zip file, but since they aren't commented and since I don't really understand Javascript/Ajax very well, I am fumbling blind with how to make this work.

Any guidance or direction you can provide would be immensely appreciated.

Getting An Error Uploading Access Files

But, I have configured the script to accept files with an .accdb extention.

I'm thinking the problem is that the extention is 5 characters ... rather than 4 (like .mpeg) or 3 (like .zip).

The file will upload, but then after it is 100% uploaded, phpUploader takes the temp file and converts it to a fully downloaded one (I think .... that's what it looks like in the code).

The file I'm tryinhg to uplload is named "Scrubv7.accdb"

The error I get is " (1) tmp_name is not available for Scrubv7.accdb"

The error log looks like this ... you can see it's throwing several errors:

remove file list during upload

Hello.

I would like to know if it's possible change SaveDirectory attribute once the object myuploader have been created throught a javascript function,..., with out load again the page.

My example: (A page for save in database materials)

When my page it's loaded, the default SaveDirectory it's --> files/tmp_files.

When the user want create a new type of material, fill the form fields and upload files of this material, that are saved in files/tmp_files :)... all right. Then the user save the new material, I register the new material in my database, and with the id of the material, I create a new folder and move,he files from tmp_files to this new path. -> for example files/material_cod_36

following the example, if user want add new files to material 36... I would like to change myuploader->SaveDirectory to files/material_cod_36 with out load again the page..., with a javascript function.

I'm trying to install the evaluation version of PHP File Uploader.

Here's the issue I'm having: I've placed all the code on my page but it's displaying as follows:

Adding fields and saving to DB

I have tested Simple Upload with Progress and Multiple file uploads and I have managed to upload files to the server. Both works fine. However the problem is these only save the files to server. But I need to save the Uploaded File Names to database. I also need to add couple of fields to collect customers' Name and Email and save them to database too (with the uploaded file name). I am not sure how to achieve it as I am more of a graphic designer than a web develovper. Any help would be much appreciated.

File name append when already present

I was doing some mobile testing this weekend .. uploading images form my iOS device. Greatness. But, when a file already exists with the same name, the newly uploaded file never appears.

If a file is uploaded with the same name as one present, is / could there be a way to just append "_1 / _2" the file name? This would be nice!

Exclude instead onf include extensions

Uploading Error in some files

I'm usng php file uploader and I'm having a problems... concretly, this errors:

"Server side exception, failed to upload Maid with the Flaxen Hair.mp3

Debug Information:

(1) tmp_name is not available for Maid with the Flaxen Hair.mp3"

It happen beacuse the name contains spaces(' ')in the name, I think.

"Server side exception, failed to upload Kalimba.mp3
Debug Information:

Php No Request Files"

This other error happen with a lot of files... but i don't know why...

Please say that can do it and if i can solve the problem with the spaces. Thanks

PHP Uploader not working on IE9

We try the demo provided by PHP File Uploader on IE 9. When clicking on upload button, there is no response at all. The demo works fine on IE8. Any clues, someone?

Safari Alerting Error On Multiple File Selection

"Your browser multiple file selection feature has bugs. Please select one file at a time."

What's going on here? Do you have a fix for this yet?
