Issue with ISAPI_Rewrite

Hello, I have a problem uploading files with Ajax Uploader when I am rewriting urls with the component ISAPI_Rewrite.

hen I am trying to upload a file, it throws a dialog alert with message "Unknown result: " and all the HTML page content. I have used UploaderDebug = 1

This is the rewriting rule:

Error when uploading MP3 files

Hi,

Have been successfully using Ajax Uploader for several months to upload various video and audio files. The application allows a user to select Video or Audio as a file type so that the code behind can set the Upload ValidateOptions.AllowedFileExtensions to be set accordingly.

Video allows asf, avi, flv, mov, m4v, mp4, mpg, rm, wmv

Audio allows aac, iff, mp3, mpa, ra, wav, wma

I know that .mov, .avi, .wmv, .mpg all work for video files and .wma works for audio files BUT we have now found that when a .mp3 file is uploaded, we receive the following message once the upload has completed:

The file is corrupt or has an incorrect extension.

This message is being produced by the CuteWebUI_AjaxUploader_OnError javascript function.

All the mp3 files tested play successfully through Windows Media Player and VLC player.

Any ideas?

Error: Files get uploaded even when Max File Size allowed set to '0MB'

Hi,

In the application (for testing purpose), I have set the Max File Size allowed value to '0MB'. So, when I try to upload files with file size greater than '0MB/0KB' , I get the error message that 'Attachment Size exceeds the allowed value of 0MB'. But, still the file gets uploaded in IE9.

And also all file types get allowed for this scenario even though we have restriction for file types for this. And also, I am not able to select multiple files.

If I change the browser mode to IE8, then I don't get any error and the file gets uploaded.

Folder Permissions for UploaderTemp : Security -> Group or User names : Had set "DefaultAppPool" to Full Control

The user manual of AjaxUploader says : You should ensure that the ASPNET user (NetworkService in Windows Server 2003) has read/write permission to this specified folder - UploaderTemp.

For development purpose, I use Windows 7. Finally, the site will be deployed to Windows Server 2008 R2.

When I try to upload files, I get the following error:

The AjaxUploader control works perfectly fine and able to upload files only if I use the query string:Default.aspx?UploaderDebug=1

I had checked for other posts in the same forum.But could not find proper solution. How to resolve this error?

Sporadic Viewstate errors

Hi, I am using Ajaxuploader and it is mostly successful, but I am getting some errors for failed viewstate show below, I am not on a farm, just a single web server database is seperate and I am not putting session in sqlserver. The server is a professional hoster and all mochine keys are set. Does someone have an idea of what this is?

I have used 'EnableMimeTypeChecking' attribute and set it to 'true'.

Now I am trying to Upload a renamed xml file to zip. It does not upload to the portal neither gives an error message for this.

So, I want to dispaly an error message here to the user when MimeTypeCheck fails. Is there any way or attribute which we can set to display the error message?

Unable to get XSD files to show in file dialog even though they are included in the allowed file extensions

Using the uploader with ASP.NET MVC 3 (Razor), I have configured the uploader like this:

When you select the "All Files" filter you see there is in fact an XSD file in the directory:

Initial install problem

Hi I am attemtping to use the uploader I took code directly from the sample application that worked perfectly, when I went to use it the file select button would'nt come up when I clicked it so I can't select any files. This is peculiar, is there something that I missed that is obvious? My Porject builds with the new code and I renamed the namespaces so that everything is in the same space. I am using a MVC 4 application web project. Also this is on trial for 30 days yes? It would give me time to get the license for my clients server.

MVC without full page reload

I've got this mostly working, so when all the files have uploaded instead of it reloaded the whole page it calls Web API method to move the uploaded files to their proper/permanent locartions.

The only issue is if I then go on and upload another file afterwards it still has the file(s) in its memory that were previously uploaded and so it tries to process those aswell.

So what I want is to clear out or initialise the file uploader control client side usinf javascript, i've tried clearing the hidden form variable myuploader (this stores a | delimited string of guids relating to the files uploaded), but if I clear this out the previously uploaded files just reappear again if I upload more files.

Hopefully there is a way in javascript to initialise the control?

Bought the license and now it does not work.

I set ProgressPanelWidth="150" property of control, but when file uploaded successfully, In queue it displays full file name

with success image or if we make cancel upload it also does samething.

I want to modify file name with number of fixed characters like 'my test file.....on video upload'.

How it can be achieved??

ASP.Net UpdatePanel not Updating, Partial Postback fires

So I've been stuck on this problem for quite a few hours now, searched forums, tried everything people suggest, but i just can't make it work.

I have a (rather large) web form. Somewhere on the form is an updatePanel which contains a CuteSoft Ajax Uploader control. That control calls a function in my code behind when a file is uploaded - this works fine. In that function I make some changes to the content in the updatePanel (add thumbnails etc), however the changes never reflect on the front end.

So both the above functions fire when an image is uploaded. The image data is coming through fine. Debugging the values assigned to the controls (eg: ImageUrl, CssClass, etc) shows that they're getting assigned to the controls correctly.. however the values never get refreshed on the front end.

Any ideas what I've missed?

IE9 having problems when silverlight is enabled.

I have a client that uses IE9 and has the Silverlight addin enabled. They are unable to click the "Browse" button to display the select file dialog. If I disable Silverlight and click the button it works fine.

I am using the Uploader control that is with my copy of CuteEditor. The CuteEditor.dll version (under Properties|Details) is Product version 6.6.0.0.

Any thoughts?
