Thanks for this. Unfortunately, the page does not always work for me. In IE6, I see the following:
Works fine half the time.
The other half the time, the first press on attachEvent button does nothing, then a press on detachEvent followed by another press on attachEvent causes me to see a number of popups (somewhere between 3 and 9) everytime there is a keyPress event.
Can you repro this with IE? The page seems to load quite slowly, which probably isn't helping.
Works fine in Firefox 2, however most of my users will have IE!
My previous question - is onKeyPress the right event to use for my problem, where I just want to do a one-off check to see whether the content has changed when the user leaves the page? Is there a better way to do this, perhaps an inbuilt property of the editor?
