The CuteEditor for DNN named one of my user's image maps as AutoMap1. She then added a second on a different page, and it named it 'AutoMap1' as well. It didn't work but when she renamed it AutoMap2, it worked fine.

I haven't had the time to deeply research this, but wanted to notify the CuteSoft team.
