    window.CuteEditorInitialize : Illegal Character

I am upgrading from cute editor 6.3 to 6.6, using files downloaded from the DotNetNuke 5.x product download page.  The editor works in a testing environment for me in IE and FF.  When I migrate the upgrade to production, it works for IE (only tested in 8), but it gives an error in Firefox and does not load the editor.  The error message appears here (as shown in Firebug).  Any suggestions for resolution?

When upgrading to 6.6, have you deleted the old client files?

If not, please delete the old files then try again.

The old files are relocated to a subfolder in case I need to revert.  I follow the same process in both my test and production environments.  And now I'm noticing in IE (which I previously thought was working) the following error message.  This seems to occur randomly.

Per your suggestion, I completely removed the old client files (relocated to another drive for backup).  Instead of publishing over the top of existing files, I deleted them.  I then placed the new files.  It does appear to work now.

    Thank you.

I haven't seen the original error re-appear since my last update.  However, it does appear that the IMPL CODE error still occurs on an occasional basis.  Is there anything that can be done to resolve this?
