Safari 5.1.2 editor bug (CSS/Javascript related)?

    - iOS 10.7.2 or Windows VIsta
    - Safari 5.1.2 or 5.1.1
    - latest editor build, downloaded 10 days ago
    - no browser extensions
    - cleared cache
    - same behaviour on my site as on demo site @ http://phphtmledit.com/EnableAll.php no matter the configuration
    -  all select boxes of the editor toolbar behave erratically  as shown in the two screenshots below. They can be selected but never get applied to the selected text.

    - incidentally as I write this, same browser, same OS (both Windows/Mac), this form's editor does NOT behave in such manner, but the select boxes behave normally as they are designed to
    - if I go to http://phphtmleditor.com/ instead .. the select boxes again have no style applied to them BUT at least they do apply the selections correctly???
    - Chrome, FF and IE are fine

    - likely a Javascript/CSS issue?

    Hi Cassiopeia,

We can reproduce this. I've logged it. And will report to our development team. Once issue is resolved, I will keep you posted.

    Hi Ken,

    any news on that issue?

ps: I had to switch to Firefox to post this note, as in Safari the message box would not gain focus to allow me to type?

    Thanks Nora
