Problem with the youtube button

Hello,

I have a problem when I try to insert a Youtube video with the "Youtube" button.
When I insert it I have in the HTML mode the following code:
1.
2. <param name="Movie" value="<iframe title=" />
3. <embed src="<iframe title=" width="425" height="344" allowfullscreen="true" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" >
But when try to save it, here is what I have in Editor1.Text:

1.
2. <param name="Movie" value="
3. <embed src="
4.
test youtube

5.

6.

This difference makes it impossible to reload the video in the Editor using Editor1.text = value.

Can you help me??

Thank you.

Re: Problem with the youtube button

I found what the problem was, CuteEditor was not accepting the iframes, so using the property EnableStripIframeTags="false", the iframes are now accepted.
However, the video is not working.

It works if I paste the Youtube Embed Code directly in the HTML mode, so what's the purpose of this Youtube button?

Re: Problem with the youtube button

When I paste my video's embed code

1.

in "Paste the YouTube Embed code here:", the embed code becomes :"

1. <param name="Movie" value="<iframe title" /><embed src="<iframe title" width="425" height="344" allowfullscreen="true" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" >
I think there is a problem with the <embed src="<iframe title" .... no?
Can you help me make this button work please?

Re: Problem with the youtube button

Romain,

Please try your code in this example.

If it works for you, please download the latest build.

There are two types of yourtube embed code.

1. Old embed code
<param name="movie" value="

2. New embed code

The latest build of Cute Editor should work for both situations.

Re: Problem with the youtube button

Thanks for answering :)
I tried in the example, and all I see after inserting the video is a black square and I can't play the video.
The embed code I use is:

Can you tell me if it works for you?

Romain:

It's due to the firefox browser limitation.

The video should work after you submit the form.

Or try use the preview button.

Preview Previews the current page.

Re: Problem with the youtube button

OK, thanks for the previous help.

I'm sorry to bother you again but i'm now using the last version of Youtube button, and it seems that now, it does not work with dailymotion videos:
When I paste the following embed code, nothing appears in CuteEdirot (the code is only pasted in the HMTL mode):

this embed code is from the video:
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x25ays_scolastance-v5_school

I get the same behaviour using
http://cutesoft.net/example/general.aspx

Thank you,
