insert hyperlink unable to browse .asp extensions

I am using the latest version (6.6) with Firefox 3.5.7, IE 7, and IE 8.  When I select the insert hyperlink icon and then the browse button next to the URL text box, I am unable to see .asp pages when browsing.  Is this a limitation of the tool or something I need to configure?

I attempted to test this using your example but you don't seem to have any .asp pages (or due to the issue I just can't see them).

    Thanks

Asp file are not allowed in the online demo.

If you want to allow asp files in your own application, please check the following example:

Re: insert hyperlink unable to browse .asp extensions

    Adam,

Are there any restrictions on the type of files that can be seen in the left browsing window?  The link you provided here shows me how to restrict what types of extensions can be uploaded; however, my issue is simply with what is showing in the left browsing window (tree structure) as I navigate to find what I was to link/insert.  I can't seem to find anything in the developer guide.

    Thanks

    Dear jamesk,

Please open file CuteSoft_Client\CuteEditor\Configuration\Security\Default.config, add your own extension name in <security name="DocumentFilters">, and test it again.

    Regards,
    Eric

    Eric,

I see; I was confused and thought that that filtered only what I could upload but not see.  Thanks for help!
