Adding <body style="padding: 3px"> tag automatically

When I edit pages, cute editor seems to be adding <body style="padding: 3px">to the html code. even if i manually change it to 0px, the next save will overwrite it and change it to 3px again. This is a problem because my design relies on it being flush to the top of the page. Any ideas why this could be happening?

Did you find the above code directly or you just feel editor added the padding to the body tag?

To debug this issue, print the content of the editor before saving the content into DB.

We don't have any code to add padding to 3.

sorry just to confirm, what do you mean by 'print the content'? also, it isnt saving to a db, it is saving directly to an html doc, if that makes any difference.

I am sure we don't have any code to add padding when submitting the page. Please try this example. The source code of this example can be found in the download package.

I just tried the demo, put in a 3x2 table with text in each cell. it added padding upon hitting save

here is the html is produced:

I have also just installed cute editor on another website and it is adding the padding on there too.

Sorry I have taken so long to reply but I have been busy and the client has been away, therefor not looking at the site ;)

The other website that I mentioned that I just installed cute editor on, is now ready to go live but this padding is completely screwing up the layout so has to wait. I really need to get this sorted.

Adam,

I have been racking my brains trying to work out why it does not do it occationally.. turns out it ONLY HAPPENS IN FIREFOX. I have NO idea why this is. It is so weird. So I will be changing my clients over to IE7.. Not sure if you still want to investigate it.
