HI

I have installed Live Support, our web site runs on IIS6 - and when I try to log in to the Live Support operator I get the following error.

System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel.


I have seen previous posts but was not sure how to fix this problem from those posts. Anyone have any solution?

That thread does not make any sense to me - what am I supposed to do?  We have brought a licence for the product - but I am trying to get it working locally so we can test it (https://localhost/).

Am I supposed to set up an "set up an exception for http://api.hostip.info/"

Where and how do I do this?

I was able to get past this problem by disabling the certificate on my local computer - hopefully this is not the only solution on live site.  I am trying to get this working as a demo so my company can decide whether to use Live Support.


I am using the integration package - and have had difficulties with getting this to work with AD - but after a few days of trial and error I seem to have got this sorted.  Now I am getting the an error when I try and login as an Operator - I have set myself up as an operator (which again is weird as I can only add myself in - i.e. my AD user name - and not others!).


I can see this is being thrown in the webmethod SupportIsLogon() in the webservice... but I cannot override this method or work out what is happening. 


This is all proving rather time consuming and we really just wanted something easy to integrate with our site.  It seems like this product is too time consuming to implement.

I have followed all instructions and videos.

Yes I did - I needed to edit the data in teh DB for an Operator - fro some reason it was not entered via the admin page correctly.  Not sure why the admin page enters operator incroeectly but I guess I can just create my own page for that.

I now can login in as an operator and invite user to chat but they cannot see if an operator is logged in - the image is always offline.

I have installed the Framework 2.0  pages and code and also the CuteSoft.Chat.dll version 3.1.0.0 - 668KB

Yes - and it works!

I stil have to add admins in via query analyser - but that is not too much of an issue.

I would like to be able to link a message to a table in our database - so that we can have a report which wil show any conversation to do with certain Quotes. Is there anyway I can override a method or detect the message id after it has been inserted into the CuteChatMessage table so I can then insert it into my own custom table?
