Use buttons in readonly mode?

Hi all,

at initial load my editor should be editable. As soon as the user saved it it should be readonly. Setting the editor to readonly would automatically disable the buttons :-( At least the user should be able to increase the height using the + and - at the bottom and also maximizing to full screen. How could I achieve this? (I'm using latest 6.0)

This is by design. All buttons are disabled="disabled" in readonly="readonly" mode.

thanks for the extremly fast reply, unfortunately not the answer I hoped ;-) Is there any way to work around this?

Just read some general info about custom buttons. Would it be possible to create custom buttons which call the existing actions? I'm mainly interested in "Maximize Editor" and "Enlarge Editor" (the little "+" and "-" and the lower right corner).

Adam,

sorry for bothering you again but I still could not solve it. What could I do with the example? I see that there are individual buttons but how could I see the code behind?
I checked the supplied Helpfile, section Toolbar Customization \ Add your own custom Buttons. I copied the first example but I get an error "Name 'SetMouseEvents' is not declared. " I guess this is somewhere in your namespace but I could not find it :-(
