    Re: window error

    hi karen

thanks for the reply. i'm assuming that you're right, that is is indeed an issue with something specific to our web server. i've read many review of the software working flawlessly and hardly any reports of this issue.

having said that, it is an issue for us - would it be possible to maybe get a technical response as to why this error would occur? from there i can maybe investigate the problem further.

we would really like to purchase this software, especially since it integrates so well with communityserver, but i must get this issue resolved first. we are using asp.net 2.0, and CS 2.1.

    hi karen

thanks for your help so far!

as you can probably understand, i cant just give admin access to our application - it is a live application with sensitive information.  there must be another way for your technical support team to analyse the error without logging into the database?

    Re: window error

    hi karen

while i try to get our it dept to allow this, ive set you guys up with an account on our site

    http://www.opinionspaid.com

i'll email you directly the username/password. i figured you guys could at least see if the problem happens for you too. in the forums you'll see one forum group called 'chat test' - and in that group a forum called 'chat test' - you can go into that chat room and see how it goes. seems to be whenever you're in there for a few minutes, it doesn't happen straight away. and it usually happens after you send a few messages. it actually 'freezes' the chat application for everyone else in the chat room too. in the meantime, if your tech guys want me to send you our web.config or global.asax file etc, please let me know.

    Re: window error

ok i'm pretty sure i've solved the problem

for people running communityserver and cutechat - the PageViewsJob was taking 2 minutes to run, and it was when the jobs were running that cutechat would crash. i disabled that one particular job, and now the program runs fine

i'm using cs 2.1, in case anyone's interested
