Stinky Absolute/Relative Problem With Images

Hi,

Using the CuteEditor

I've incorporated the tags UseRelativeLinks="False"

RemoveServerNamesFromURL="False"

When I insert a image and save it to a sql server database the absolute path is not stored.

If I insert a image, toggle to HTML mode the absolute paths show. Once clicking back to Normal and

clicking save, the absolute path IS SAVED.

Now I have no intention of training people to toggle between Normal / HTML just to get the absolute paths to show

up. Does anyone have an idea of why this bug is occuring?

Are you using the version 5.3?

If not, which version of CuteEditor are you using?

I'm not sure how to determine the version number.

The Cute dll is size 232k.

I'm not having a problem with sql server...just with link paths for absolute instead of relative paths.

It looks like you are using an old version.

The latest version of CuteEditor is version 5.3. The site of the DLL is 538k.

Can I see the code behind this example?

I also use UseRelativeLinks="False". In html view it shows the full absolute path.

Now, I want to get the html-string with the Editor1.Text property, and i get <img src="/MyApp/Images/test.jpg>".

But I want to absolute path. ex. <img src="http://blablabla/MyApp/Images/test.jpg"> like in the example:

Have you set RemoveServerNamesFromURL property to false as well?

The editor setting of the above example is as followings:

<CE:Editor id="Editor1" UseRelativeLinks="False" RemoveServerNamesFromURL="False" runat="server" ></CE:Editor>

Ok, it works now.

I inserted : editor1.RemoveServerNamesFromUrl = false;

Deleted all internet temporary files and then tried again...
