    CuteChat3 Beta

    Dear Customers:
I am sorry , I delay the project for many months.
The new CuteChat3 beta is about ready.
We would publish the beta version at about Feb 1 .

    Regards , Terry .

    Anyone else crossing their fingers?

    Re: CuteChat3 Beta

Not a problem! My client decided to buy a Web chat product (enterprise license+source code) from another vendor. The deciding factor to go with another company was CuteSoft's unresponsiveness and generally unprofessional presales service.

Guys, please feel free to shoot yourself in the foot as many times as you want.

    best regards,

    Re: CuteChat3 Beta

    Hi

I would guess they are using real chat - www.realchat.com

Integration is pretty easy and its a good chat client, well worth the money :)

    Re: CuteChat3 Beta

I have contacted cutesoft at least 5 or 6 times DIRECTLY.. and their staff has been very professional to me.. and have helped me out several times in a timely manner.

If you got a java room.. good luck because people at work wont be able to chat.

    Hi Rhaney

How did you contact CuteChat? I am in the same position as the above person I urgently need some answers to technical questions before I can proceed. I have emailed them twice but had no response - what is the best way to contact them?

I have to say that I don’t mind the wait. I applaud Cute Soft for taking the time to really test a product for they release it to us. I would much rather wait a few extra weeks and get a well tested solid product then get a product on it scheduled release date full of bugs. As far as the  www.realchat.com product, it comes with infinitely less features then Cute Messenger/Chat and the design is horrid. Any java based chat application is going to make a site look unprofessional, just my opinion.

In short, Cute Soft porducts are worth the wait. Also, if you are looking for support, simply click the “Live Support” image at the top of every page. If the Image says support is off line, just send Adam a private message and he usually responds in 24 hours.

    Re: CuteChat3 Beta

I was chatting with CuteSoft support and Karen said that there would be at least another 2 months delay. So much for waiting ...

    Re: CuteChat3 Beta

What's the hold up?  Did she say?  I don't want to purchase version 2 when a new version is coming out...but my trial will expire soon.  If I could be guarantied a free upgrade, that wouldn't be so bad though.

    Re: CuteChat3 Beta

Yeah this is ridiculous.  How these people are/stay in business I have no idea.

Does anyone know of any other non-java based messengers out there?  If I keep waiting for cutesoft it will be 2008 before I get IM on my site.

    Re: CuteChat3 Beta

I agree that current users should receive a free upgrade or at least a guaranteed % discount off the version 3 license.   I am guessing that the hold up has something to do with making the software compatible with .NET 1.1 and .NET 2. They are by far the best solution for Chat Rooms and Messengers... so... all we can really do is hope and wait!

    Congratulations! Just in time....

Could you give me rough estimation on how many chat members can be handled by a dedicated Server (3GHZ)?
