Hello, I am working on populating the predefined links drop down, which is great, but how do I change the width of the drop down? All my menu item names are longer then the default space.

 

Also if I highlight some text and then select an item from that drop down, it places the link and overwrites the text I highlighted with the name from the drop down box. I tried your in this editor and it does not do that. What am I doing wrong?

 

Last thing... is is possible to have 2 Link drop down boxes? Can I change the name that appears, for example, instead of Links or Code Snippet, can I change these names to something else?

Also, I can't seem to find any real good documentation on this editor. Is there a place where I can go and read about all the different properties and settings available, what properties can be set from true to false, e.t.c.

The width of the dropdown menu can't be changed with the current version.

Which version of CuteEditor are you using?

I assume you mean 5.0. Could you change it in 4.x? hmmm.

Changing the width of the drop down menus in version 5 is fairly painless, however a you must modify the common.config and the include_CuteEditor.asp file. I do not want to send the design and support team reaching for the bottle of tums, so if you let me know if you still want to know how. Currently I have the CSS style dropdown at 300 px and the other at the default.

 

Adam if you want to have my "mod" I will send it. I is two new lines of code and addition to another as well as adding attributes to the common.config.

I am using version 4.2

 
How to resolve this in version 4.2? I would not like to upgrade to 5.0 at this moment. As it seems there still are some issues to iron out. I never upgrade until at least 3 months have passed with a new release (so all initial bugs can be fixed - just facts of life! :-))
