I've used ™ and ™ and on the initial save of the content from CE things look fine, but if I go back and resave the page all trademark symbols are converted to a "T".  If I use the "Special Characters" button provided by the editor I get the same results.  I've also set the UseHTMLEntities to false as suggested in a prior forum question.  It appears as if CE is changing the html markup from what is entered into something else that displays as a "T".  Any ideas?

CuteEditor does the conversion work on the server side instead of the client side.

The HTML in the editor both before and after saving shows "TM".  But when displayed in the browser away from the editor it shows as "T".

I ran your example and it works fine.  The problem shows when I take the output and save it to an SQL database and then try to display it in a web page.  I am wondering it this is an issue with the database and the editor?  I ask because there does not seem to be a problem with the TM in a regular textbox.

To get around the issue, I have added a button to insert ^TM.
